Shop/wine critic/winery review: Vintage Cellar/Amanda/ "One of the greatest buys I have tasted this year is this under $10, 100% Chenin Blanc from the Western Cape. A super flowery-scented nose includes notions of ripe honeydew melons and pears. This is a medium weight, fresh, fruity, crisp, dry Chenin Blanc.
Your Review: This was a white wine that was very fruity in smell and taste along with a sour aftertaste. I could defiantly pick out the pear taste, but it had a weak impression on the palate. This white wine was not one of my favorites, but would go great with a soft appetizer meal because its medium and watery taste.
